Mockingbird seemed surprised by this and it seemed like that would become a major plot point. However to my knowledge his "powers" were never brought up again, so was the idea scrapped or did i miss something?
For a number of years, Hawkeye was taking Hank Pym’s growth serum to become Goliath, so his genetic structure had been altered by powers, even though they were powers that he no longer possesses. And so he was affected as well.
