I didn't mean I had to see frequent x-overs outside of the team books. I meant that the story threads feel so sterile that they don't seem to be on the same earth. Other than major events (ex. Inhumanity), many stories have ramifications that totally are ignored in other books. Conversely, different Spidey titles manage to include X-men or Avengers when the story flows that way. Jeff

I’m not sure i quite see the difference that you’re pointing to. Avengers have appeared a whole bunch on X-Men, and X-Men have appeared in Avengers, and so forth. But that said, with a solo character like Spidey (one who has a regular team-up title to boot) it’s perhaps a bit easier to have characters interact. When you’re beginning your story with a dozen Avengers or X-Men, more characters will just make the story more crowded, not necessarily better.
