vbartilucci asked: One of the things I was hoping for (but only seeing in a limited degree) is companies trying new things in digital-only, books with characters that might not pay if published physically. While not asking for specific numbers, does the savings on printing the printing costs make digital comics sufficiently less expensive (as opposed to more profitable) that a series or a mini with a smaller (but still very appreciative) potential audience might get more consideration? more "experimental" stuff?

I think this will become more and more possible as sales in the digital space grow greater and greater, but at the moment we’re not really at the point where the average project can underwrite its costs based solely on its digital performance. Until we’re at that point with greater regularity, it’s unlikely that we’ll go too absolutely crazy in the space.
